It’s not just the van drivers, all Pakistani drivers are crazy. Especially during the month of Ramzan.

I left early for work today, not expecting to experience adrenaline rush. It was only 6 AM. What could happen?

How wrong was I. The traffic was low but the doze of craziness wasn’t. Most drivers didn’t care for red lights. One NHA bus driver crossed at least 4 red lights and almost ran over a QingQi at Chandni Chowk. What that idiot didn’t realize is that we both crossed most of the Murree road and got to the Kachehri Chowk at the same time. I am sure he will continue to do{ drive_crazy() } while ( $there_is_life );. That’s the nature of our drivers, be them educated or un-.

Van Drivers Exempt from Traffic Rules

No, they aren’t moving.

They are fully stopped right in front of the entry gate to Madrassah Faizul Islam on Murree road. And get this, they are waiting for pessengers. Yup, these van drivers decided to show their booty to Punjab Traffic Police and moved the bus stop to the middle of the road. All on their own.

Where the hell is Traffic Police? Well, I saw one santari yesterday picking his nose at the junction of Stadium road and Murree road. None today. They must be blocking traffic somewhere for Mushi, et al.
